Real Madrid were determined to have a big summer off the back of back-to-back trophyless seasons, with their goal to once again establish themselves as the best team in Europe. The club has already announced four new signings and they don't seem done yet. Real Madrid has been linked with Bayern Munich superstar Michael Olise all summer with the club eying the Frenchman as their next galactico signing. The Germans have been adamant that he's not for sale no matter what, but that may not be the truth.
As being reported by theMadridZone on X, Bayern Munich are showing a strong public stance saying saying "Olise is not for sale" but behind the scenes they know things are different and they know that the player wants to join Real Madrid this summer. Bayern are reportedly looking at PSG's Bradley Barcola as a replacement for Olise, with Real Madrid stepping up their interest in the Frenchman.
Olise to Real Madrid may actually happen this summer
As mentioned earlier Real Madrid have been talking up quite the game about making another galactico signing this summer with names like Rodri, Enzo Fernandez, and Julian Alvarez being mentioned, but club president Florentino Perez is determined to make Michael Olise the newest galactico to create the most fearsome attack in world football, and he seems determined to do it at all costs.
Bayern have repeatedly come out and said the Frenchman isn't for sale no matter the cost and have reportedly been in talks over a long-term extension with the player all summer to thwart off any potential move from Los Blancos. However that's the same thing Barcelona said with Neymar back in 2017 before his record setting move to PSG, a move everyone said would never happen, so who's to say the same isn't true for Olise.
Bayern are likely to demand at least €200 million to consider selling the superstar, and Real Madrid are reportedly ready to break Neymar's record transfer fee of €222 million to bring in the Frenchman, with the club knowing he wants to join immediately.
Now while this all sounds fantastical we have to be realistic in saying Olise probably isn't going anywhere. Despite his strong relationship with Kylian Mbappe and all the money Real Madrid have made from sales this summer, a move is still very hard to pull off. If any club can pull it off it's Real Madrid and we've seen Florentino Perez do crazier things in the past and with well over a month left in the transfer window, maybe just maybe, Real Madrid could pull off one of the most ambitious transfers in football history.
