Alongside all the arrivals at Real Madrid this summer, the club has also been working on a number of departures of surplus players who no longer fit in to Jose Mourinho's plans. There are a number of players who are rumored to be close to the exit door as Mourinho builds his squad, however there is one, who many believe could leave that has offically been deemed untouchable by Jose Mourinho as he views him as a major player in his team.

As being reported by theMadridZone on X, Arda Guler has been deemed as 'untouchable' by Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid as the manager is big fan of the player and the club is betting on him a lot for both the present and the future. Many, including the manager and the club are expecting a breakout season from Guler in 26/27 off the back of his best ever season at the Bernabeu last season.

It's kind of crazy to think Guler is still only 21-years-old as he is set to start his fourth season with Real Madrid, a season where many are expecting him to take the next step following his incredible campaign last season. Through all the chaos at Real Madrid last season Guler was one of the most underrated players, picking up an impressive six goals and 14 assists across 51 matches, including two stunners against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals, and a goal from his own half, winning him the La Liga Goal of the Season award.

The Turkish international had somewhat of a disappointing World Cup only grabbing one assist in three games, getting eliminated in the group stage but to be fair Turkey were bad as a whole and it's not all Guler's fault. Many believed his poor World Cup would have an impact on his place under Mourinho but that doesn't seem to be the case in the slightest.

Guler just recently returned from his vacation and has slotted right into Mourinho's team, grabbing a couple assists in the behind closed door friendlies Real have been playing. Jose just missed out on managing Guler at Fenerbahce so now that he finally has his hands on the youngster he plans to use him to his full extent, something other managers have failed to do during his time at the Bernabeu.

One question does still remain, where exactly does Guler fit in? Jude Bellingham is the undisputed starter at the 10 role, and with Real Madrid pushing hard to sign Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig he won't start on the right wing so where will he play? Guler has proven he's too good to be a rotation player so Mourinho will really have to sit down and do some thinking about how to fit Guler into his plans.
