Jose Mourinho is also said to clearly want the right winger, who actually won the award for the best French player abroad over Kylian Mbappe, the current starting striker for Real Madrid, this season.

Olise is one of the three big Ballon d'Or favorites alongside teammate Harry Kane and Barcelona's Lamine Yamal. He cooked Real Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinals, and it is obvious why the man who broke Lionel Messi's single season assists record is so wanted by both Florentino and Mourinho this summer.
Mourinho has mostly been wishing for big defensive signings like Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan, and he will already be getting his teammate at right back, Denzel Dumfries, and Liverpool free agent Ibrahima Konate.
But Real Madrid do want one more attacking piece to finish the puzzle, and especially with Rodrygo Goes out, Los Blancos want that new right winger to combine with Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior to kickstart the attack to its fullest potential.
