And then, Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler were massive again, as Real remained solid defensively with Kylian Mbappe busting out for a hat trick with Vinicius Junior also scoring and assisting by his side in a truly dominant 4-1 win over Real Sociedad.
After the game, Mourinho basked in the glory of a three goal, blowout win over one of Spanish football's bigger clubs, and he made a big statement that fans can expect Real Madrid to win by this score line - and more - soon enough on a regular basis.

Mourinho told reporters, via the Madrid Zone, "We WILL WIN by 3 goals, 4 goals, 5 goals again. It'll happen again, many times."
Real Madrid fans have not seen their beloved club regularly win by margins of three to five week after week for years. It has literally not been since the days of Cristiano Ronaldo dominating the attack that Real Madrid have been able to enjoy beating up on La Liga opponents like this.
Now, Real Madrid do not have the GOAT in their lineup anymore, and La Liga is a different league ever since more teams starting embracing low blocks and the dark arts after Jose Bordalas had his satanic Getafe side flirting with European football using these unsavory tactics.
But Real Madrid do have Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Arda Guler, Jude Bellingham, Yan Diomande, Carlos Espi, and Endrick all together in one of the most enviably loaded teams they have produced - one with the raw talent to potentially compete with the best of Real Madrid's sides if they all play to their potential.
That is a lot of "ifs", sure, and Real Madrid cannot ever be disrespectful to the memory of ballers like Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, and Luka Modric who were all cut from a different cloth from pretty much anyone in the history of this game.
But if anyone can get Real Madrid to blow teams out in the league every week and be THE dominant force again, then it is Jose Mourinho with this team. Watch out.
