Real Madrid are hoping for a revival under new manager Jose Mourinho this season. Following disastrous back-to-back trophyless seasons, the club has once again called on The Special One to work his magic and bring trophies and stability back to the Bernabeu in what could turn out to be one of the most important seasons in the recent history of Real Madrid. Mourinho has a number of goals in mind for his first season back at the club, with one goal being to bring the best back out of four player in particular who haven't been delivering at the level we all know they can.

As being reported by Yahoo Sports, Jose Mourinho has made it his goal to revive the careers of Jude Bellingham, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Eduardo Camavinga, and Dean Huijsen this season, following a disappointing season from the four players in 25/26, as the manager knows all of them are better than what they showed last season. Mourinho believes each player is capable of taking a massive step forward this season, and will do everything he can to get the four back to their very best.

Jose Mourinho ready to be the career resurrector at Real Madrid

One of Mourinho's key traits as a manager is his man management and his ability to bring the best out of players who have gone through difficult times in their careers, and Real Madrid are hoping he'll be able to do the same with some of their stars players, many of whom are viewed as the future of the club, with high expectations on their shoulders.

Mourinho plans to start his revival with Jude Bellingham. Jose views the Englishman as one of the cornerstone pieces of his project and plans to build the midfield around him, and with the performances he's been putting in at the World Cup, it makes sense why he will be the centerpiece of Mourinho's midfield. Injuries have really dragged down Bellingham the last two years but with him now looking to be back to his best, Jose's plans to revive his Real Madrid career may be easier than he expected.

Injury problems are also what somewhat derailed Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold's time at the Bernabeu but with both players not being called up for the World Cup and arriving to pre-season well rested and fully fit, Mourinho will have plenty of time to get the two defenders back to their best, which we saw glimpses of last season. How the two players will cope with the arrivals of Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfires remains unknown, but even then they will still play a key part in a long season in 2026.

As for Camavinga, how exactly Jose plans to revive him remains unknown. Rumors suggest he's closer to leaving than he is staying, and even if he does stay, he'll still most likely be behind all of Bellingham, Tchouameni, and Valverde, who Jose reportedly prefers more, so playing time will still be hard to come by for the Frenchman. Mourinho has quite the task on his hands with Real Madrid this season, but if there's any manager in the world who can find a way to solve all the issues, Jose Mourinho is the guy.
