It makes a ton of sense for Real Madrid to want to sign Diomande. It may mean missing out on Olise, but Diomande can play on both sides of the flank, he is younger, he is half the price, and he was just as good as Olise to most Bundesliga observers; it's just that he was carrying an awful RB Leipzig team (by their standards) whereas Olise got to play with Harry Kane, Luis Diaz, and Joshua Kimmich at Bayern.
