Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham said that the 10 is his best position on the pitch in a recent interview.
After training on Saturday, Bellingham did a quick interview on the Valdebebas pitch, talking about a number of things, from his assists to Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior, to his position on the pitch.
Speaking about the latter, Bellingham basically said what every single Real Madrid fan has been arguing about for the longest time.
He said: "I’m a bit more free again to decide when to come deep or stay high and make the box. It’s probably my best position, it allows me to show all of my qualities. I’m very grateful for the manager for having that belief in me.”
Bellingham is the most complete player in football at the moment. He has played as a box-to-box midfielder in the past for a number of different teams. He has also played in a double pivot for Real Madrid in big games like the one against Bayern Munich last season.
Most importantly, he excels at playing as an attacking midfielder and scoring goals and providing assists to his teammates, which he currently does for the most part for Real Madrid as well as for the England national team.

That by far is Bellingham's best position, and it's not just because he gets to score goals. He is able to move around the pitch and see where he is needed the most. He has the license to drop back and help the team build from behind.
He also has the option to pick out a pass from deep or to pick out a, shorter through ball from a very advanced position. He has the license to go into the box and score goals, and to link up with his teammates in and around the box to help them increase their goal tally.
Bellingham also is a brilliant defender, and he showcases that irrespective of which position he's playing.
If he's playing as a double pivot, he will always defend really well. If he's playing as a box-to-box, you will see him on both ends of the pitch at all times.
Even when he's playing as a 10, he still provides so much to the team defensively. He's Real Madrid's best presser; he wins the ball in advanced positions and tries to create chances from those positions.
He also has a knack for going back and helping the team defend when they need a numerical advantage. All of these things lead to him being the most complete player in the world, and no one really talks about it, but it is true.
Whatever people used to think about Paul Pogba is actually true for Jude Bellingham, and he gets to show that week in, week out for Real Madrid. And the people who don't realise that, they don't really watch football.
