There are some players who are not getting enough playing time at Real Madrid right now. One of them is Arda Guler. The Turkish international is recognised by most as one of the best young talents in world football today and showed that quality at EURO 2024. The hope was that he would get more minutes this time around after an injury-riddled debut campaign for Los Blancos. Unfortunately, that has not happened.

Guler is yet to score or assist in 10 appearances for Real Madrid so far this season. Most of them have been cameos though. And in two of their last four La Liga games, he has been left on the bench as an unused substitute.

So, it is safe to say that the situation is far from ideal for a player who would have been hoping for a lot more game time than he has gotten. Despite that, fans were left in shock when Juventus' official English account tweeted out that they had signed Guler from Real Madrid.

That made no sense. Not only football-wise but also because it is the middle of October. Now, there is further clarification of the situation. As it turns out, Juventus' English account has been hacked. The Italian club have confirmed it. As ITV Football tweeted out:

This has to be one of the most bizarre situations in recent memory, especially when such high-profile clubs are involved. But thankfully, we have gotten clarification on the matter and there is no further confusion.

Guler is staying at Real Madrid, hopefully for years to come. He is a fantastic talent and over the years, the club have proven that they are willing to show patience with players and help them reach their potential.

Just look at Vinicius Junior in his first few years at Real Madrid and look at him today. Of course, it is not just about the club though. Will Guler remain patient if he continues to be left on the bench or played as an impact substitute?
