Kylian Mbappe already got on Jose Mourinho's bad side

Real Madrid fans were stunned by the tirade Kylian Mbappe went on during the post game press conference following the club's 2-0 win over Real Oviedo. He took all the attention away from the Man of the Match performance young striker Gonzalo Garcia had in his stead in the starting lineup and made it all about him, and this time, instead of using moles and the media, the Frenchman went out in the open and fired away at manager Alvaro Arbeloa.

He did anything and everything to attack Arbeloa. He brought up Xabi Alonso's dismissal, having never cared enough to bring any of this before when that was actually a relevant topic, as a way of attacking Arbeloa's tactics. He bashed the team for losing in the Copa del Rey when he didn't play. And he even seemed to invent a quote from Arbeloa out of thin air that he was told he was fourth on the squad in terms of of forwards and had to play better than the others in order to get paying time.

Everyone else knows the truth, though. Mbappe first had an apparently season ending hamstring injury, then it was termed an overload, then we saw him in Italy on vacation, then he came back after the fire storm to practice, and then when he found out he wouldn't be starting in El Clasico, he said he was injured. So then if he was injured, Arbeloa, as he said in the press conference, has to play him off the bench in his first game back, as he would have against Barcelona, and not start him immediately.

Jose Mourinho will see right through Kylian Mbappe now

Mbappe and his clan thought that attacking Alvaro Arbeloa would be easy, since the coach has acted like a weak pushover in order to appease the stars, but he was only doing that as a direction from Florentino Perez. Everyone who actually follows Real Madrid knows Arbeloa was a warrior on the pitch who won a Champions League, played beyond his talent level, and wasn't afraid to go after more senior players like Cristiano Ronaldo if they weren't giving it their all.

And you know who he played under? Jose Mourinho. Arbeloa was one of Mourinho's warriors, and now Mourinho is going to be the next coach of Real Madrid. Well, at the Benfica press conference, he spoke about the unreal situation that developed on Thursday night at his future (and former) club, and he didn't sound too happy about what Kylian Mbappe did.

Mourinho said, via the Madrid Zone, “It saddens me because Arbeloa is a friend, he is one of those who gave his everything when he was a player of mine. Now that he is the Real Madrid manager, our connection is even stronger. I want things to go well for him.”

That's the thing Mbappe, as cold and calculating as he and his bloated entourage are, failed to account for appropriately. When you put your blood, sweat, and tears into Real Madrid for years, people respect you. Jose Mourinho respects Arbeloa, and Mbappe has not earned respect at the Santiago Bernabeu yet. When Mourinho takes over, he is not going to let Mbappe slide and will have a very short leash with the French attacker, having seen the player's true colors in how he attacked his former enforcer Arbeloa.
