Kylian Mbappe's time at Real Madrid has not been fruitful so far. We are not seeing the French footballing phenom that we were used to at PSG. The one who most considered the best player on the planet even though he had never won the Ballon d'Or. And after chasing his signature for years, Los Blancos finally brought him in this summer. The fact that he arrived as a free agent was the cherry on top of the cake.

Mbappe's integration seems to have had a negative effect on the team though. Last season, Real Madrid had seemed almost impossible to defeat, despite the number of injuries they were dealing with.

That no longer feels like the case. In fact, they have lost twice in four games in the Champions League, and also lost 4-0 to FC Barcelona at Santiago Bernabeu not too long ago.

There might be more issues for Carlo Ancelotti to deal with as well. As reported by SPORT, Mbappe is fed up. He doesn't see himself playing as a striker at Real Madrid. He prefers to play on the left but Vinicius occupies that position.

Mbappe has always looked at his best when playing on the left flank. But since he has arrived at Real Madrid, he has been used as a forward.

Of course, he has the license to drift around but mostly, he has been the focal point while Vinicius has come in from the left. Now, many are starting to question whether it is time to switch things up and see if that works.

The arrival of Mbappe has certainly had an adverse effect on one player in particular. It is Jude Bellingham, who has yet to score this season. Unfortunately, Mbappe has not been particularly free-scoring either, which has led to the problems Real Madrid have faced recently.
