Bayern Munich superstar Michael Olise was arguably the best player in club football last season, and he continued his excellence at the World Cup despite ultimately disappointing for France in the semifinals against new Real Madrid left back Marc Cucurella and the Spanish national team.

Real Madrid are smitten with Olise as the last piece of the puzzle to the attack, and while nobody wants to see Vinicius Junior sacrificed to accommodate the move, signing Olise in conjunction with his French teammate Kylian Mbappe and Vini on the left could be the club's answer to the BBC trio that won them four Champions League titles in the 2010s.

Los Blancos have been waiting for their opening to sign Olise, and with reports swirling that he is convinced by Madrid and will soon tell Bayern he wants out after speaking more with Madrid stars Aurelien Tchouameni and Mbappe at the 2026 World Cup, it looks like Real are already going to be pouncing.

Michael Olise is becoming a reality

Because according to a new report from L'Equipe, via the Madrid Zone, Real Madrid are going to launch their opening bid for Michael Olise very soon. A proposal is considered imminent by the largest French sports media outlet. Furthermore, L'Equipe is continuing to emphasize that Olise wants Real Madrid and is determined to join the biggest club in the world.

Seeing as how Bayern Munich knocked Real Madrid out of the Champions League, it would seem like a bold move from Olise to jump ship like that, but one of the biggest reasons why Bayern beat Real was because of the impact Olise had, particularly in the first leg. By flipping to Madrid, the balance of power would then shift back to Spain in the European Clasico rivalry.

This summer, Real Madrid have signed three new defenders and Bernardo Silva in midfield, and one more big name to the defense could be coming with rumors continuing to center around Inter Milan star center back Alessandro Bastoni.

An attacker has not been seen as a priority, but Real Madrid have struggled to find a left footed superstar winger since Gareth Bale's decline. And when Florentino Perez becomes obsessed with a Galactic attacking target, as he has been for months with Olise, he does whatever he can to sink his teeth into the player.

Perez has played his cards right with Olise, and he could be poised to submit the sort of staggering financial offer that would get Bayern Munich to think twice about their "never for sale" approach.
