Bayern Munich superstar right winger Michael Olise has had a strong World Cup for the French natioanl team despite going out with a whimper in the semifinals against Real Madrid left back Marc Cucurella and the Spanish national team. But honestly, even in his worst game, he still made more chances and showed more effort than current Madrid starting forward Kylian Mbappe.

Now, Mbappe and his French Real Madrid teammate Aurelien Tchouameni have been playing a critical role in recruiting Olise to Real this World Cup, and there is real reason to believe that Olise may tell Bayern Munich in their upcoming meeting after the tournament that he officially wants out and to fulfill Florentino Perez's biggest dream right now.

Bayern have made it clear that they do not want to sell Olise at any price, but Real Madrid are prepared to test that. And if Olise straight up tells the Bundesliga giants he wants to go to Madrid and play wtih Mbappe, then there really is not much Bayern can do to stop him.

Michael Olise is crazy expensive

Now, becaues Olise is under contract for a few more years, Real Madrid would still have to pay a lot under those circumstances. And according to a new report from French outlet L'Equipe's Flavien Tresarrieu, Real Madrid would have to bid 200-250 million euros to Bayern Munich in order to have a shot at taking Michael Olise off of their hands.

While Olise is a Ballon d'Or candidate this year, he is not better than Neymar was in 2017 when he left Barcelona for PSG, nor is he actually a better winger than Vinicius Junior is right now. Remember, Vini was central to two Champions League titles, and Olise has not won a single one yet.

Real Madrid and Florentino Perez are really interested in signing Olise, but unless the price tag goes down in a year from now, 200-250 million euros is a lot of money for a player who was not consistent enough to impact the game against PSG in the Champions League semifinals, Paraguay in the World Cup Round of 16, or Spain in the World Cup semifinals.

If buying Olise comes at the cost of not keeping Vinicius Junior, that is a very steep price for Flo and the Merengues to pay and probably not worth it. But looking at the situation Real are in, that may be what they are looking at if Bayern demand up to 250 million euros.
