Jurgen Klopp's potential appointment as Real Madrid's new permanent manager could lead to one of Los Blancos' superstars heading to Manchester United. The German remains the favorite to land the job should the club decide to part ways with caretaker coach Alvaro Arbeloa.

A rebuild is anticipated even if Klopp doesn't take over at the Bernabeu. That includes potential outgoings and the hottest topic of speculation suggests Jude Bellingham could be at risk of a sale.

Bellingham has endured his worst season since joining Madrid from Borussia Dortmund for €103 million in 2023. He has struggled with injury problems but his attitude has been questioned.

Real Madrid's Bellingham could be headed to Man United

Bellingham has appeared 28 times across competitions this season, posting six goals and four assists. He is currently recovering from a hamstring injury and might not return until April.

The 22-year-old's future is starting to become uncertain despite having over three years left on his contract. He snubbed the chance to play in the Premier League when he made the move to Madrid.

Football365 have relayed reports from Spain that claim that Klopp 'wants Bellingham to leave' if he gets the job. If the German coach does take over Los Blancos it seems a move to Manchester United is the likeliest destination for the English midfielder.

Bellingham is said to have "reached an agreement in principle with United to facilitate an immediate departure should a change in management occur." The Red Devils are still rebuilding their squad which has continued to stumble in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era.

The report claims that the Englishman will stay in the Spanish capital if Klopp doesn't arrive. It's a strange story given the German was pushing for the player while in charge of Liverpool and spoke glowingly of the midfielder.

Is Bellingham really at risk of being sold?

It seems absurd that Bellingham is being discussed as a potential big-money sale this summer. He made an instant impact in his debut season, helping fire Madrid to the Champions League and La Liga title.

The English star hasn't been at his best this season but one dip in his Bernabeu spell has suddenly cast doubts over his future. There was always going to be talk over him playing in the Premier League one day due to his nationality.

United would have to try and fund a deal for the versatile midfielder if they truly want to take him to Old Trafford. Given how much Madrid spent on him, they'd be looking at a club-record fee and potentially one of the most expensive transfers in history.
