Real Madrid is the world's most successful football club. Then there are several additional names that follow the Merengues. There are three teams: Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United. The English club has a long history of domination throughout the world, and particularly in English football.

The two clubs have a long history and haved share many players. From assisting the English team in rebuilding following the Munich catastrophe to transacting the most expensive players, Madrid and Manchester have an unrivaled cooperation.

Only lately has one of Manchester United's most prized players been linked with a surprise summer move to Real Madrid.

Ruben Amorim says Portuguese player is not going anywhere

According to recent rumors, Real Madrid were considering a huge bid for United's Bruno Fernandes. Fernandes, who has been one of United's most influential playmakers in recent years, has previously been linked with a transfer outside the club, but this time sources have connected him directly with Los Blancos.

In a recent media interview, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim dismissed any potential deal for the Portuguese midfielder. He continued: "No, it’s [move to Real Madrid] not going to happen."

Bruno was previously said to be considering a transfer overseas after experiencing significant frustration with his quest of silverware at Manchester United. The Red Devils' trophy drought has left numerous players antsy, and they are said to have contacted rival teams in pursuit of triumph.

Responding to the dilemma of silverware, Amorim said, "That is the challenge. I want Bruno here because we want to win the Premier League again, so we want the best players. He’s [30] but still so [fit], plays 55 games every season and between assists and goals, he’s there for 30 at least, so he’s not going anywhere."

It should be highlighted that while initial conversations may have sparked interest in Bruno Fernandes, the deal makes little sense in the context of Real Madrid. The club's midfield is already crowded, with some players appearing unsatisfied owing to a lack of minutes. Adding a new player would simply exacerbate the problem. It would make more sense for Carlo Ancelotti to give the young guns more minutes and teach himself the art of squad rotation.
