JFD emphasizes that the final decision on his future rests in the hands of Olise himself.
Real Madrid are at a faster point in the Olise chase than they could have anticipated, because already in July, we are talking about Olise having a face to face meeting with Bayern over his future and being the one to decide his own future.
That means if France win the World Cup or if Olise and Kylian Mbappe continues to dominate together and the former Crystal Palace man's interest is fully piqued, he could very well tell Bayern Munich that he wants a new challenge. And even those in the German media are pointing towards Real Madrid as a dream situation that could come to fruition for Olise sooner than Bayern would have anticipated.
Real Madrid move fast and move quietly, and though Florentino Perez has been publicly denying the Olise rumors, the winks are easy to see. And having someone like Mbappe on the national team to recruit Olise using football as the common language has proven to be a huge boon for the Madridistas. It feels like Real Madrid are a lot closer than Bayern want to admit.
