There's a more unbelievable claim about Fede Valverde than him 'refusing to play'

Sometimes, some issues make sense, issues deserve dialogue both on the pitch and from the media. And other times, there are issues that make the least sense. We call them controversies. They are absurd and serve no purpose other than to trouble those involved.

Fede Valverde of Real Madrid has been engulfed in a similar controversy. Since Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dani Carvajal are both injured, the only solution to cover the right back position is once again the Uruguayan.

There is little evidence or reason to doubt that Valverde would do a good job there. The problem started when Valverde admitted that he did not enjoy playing in that position.

The news, like any other, spread like wildfire and one thing led to another, ultimately sparking speculation that Valverde may have had some exchange of words with Xabi Alonso about refusing to play right back.

Owing to all that, Valverde issued a public statement to put everything to rest, saying that he is aware of his shortcomings but he had never refused to play anywhere. And since that is now settled, another report about him remains in the air, which is perhaps even more ludicrous than this one.

There is a more unbelievable claim about Fede Valverde than him "refusing to play"

The recent controversy has once again fuelled the age-old news that Manchester United are confident of signing Fede Valverde and might even have a “boost” owing to whatever happened.

The news suggests that Manchester United are huge admirers of the Uruguayan and are reportedly ready to pay 100 million to secure his services from Santiago Bernabeu.

Let me put one thing straight: If there is one thing that is unbridled, unwavering, and unjustly strong about Real Madrid, it is that Fede Valverde would give everything to play for this club.

Even the thought of playing elsewhere, let alone giving Manchester United a supposed “boost,” is at best a fabrication and, in extension, an insult to the devotion he has for this club.

If Fede Valverde does not love Real Madrid, then nobody does. He bleeds Madridismo. Though recent events may have created some doubts in fragile minds, the reality stays firm: Valverde does not need to see his future anywhere other than Real Madrid.

Even the strong bond that Real Madrid and Manchester United share has no say in the very idea of this fabricated transfer. There is no substance in it and certainly no interest from Valverde’s side.

In fact, his recent statement only solidifies his devotion and love for Madrid. The entire story of United getting a supposed boost is entirely unbelievable.

Yes, those who admire him at Manchester United can think they have some chance. Everyone is free to think whatever they want. But thoughts do not define reality. And this is such a thought.

The reality is that Valverde is a madridista and will remain so for a long time to come, hopefully until the end of his career.
