Real Madrid are the club of dreams for most players in the world. Not many players would say no to playing for the biggest club in the world should an opportunity like it arise for them.
Not many players get to live that dream, and it is not to say that things will work out for them if they do get to live the dream.
One of those players is Nico Paz. Paz came up through the Real Madrid academy, and scored a Champions League match-winning goal before last season, months before departing for Como in Serie A.
Real Madrid have kept tabs on him since his departure, and even though it was a permanent move from Real Madrid to the newly promoted Serie A outfit, Paz still dreams of playing for Real Madrid.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Paz's biggest dream is still to return to Real Madrid and play for them, but he is aware that things are not set in stone for him, as it depends on whether Real Madrid actually call him.
Another huge Serie A team in Inter are 'strongly' interested in signing Paz, but everything depends on Real Madrid.
It is tough to see what the club would do. On one hand, Paz is an incredibly talented player who is leading a bunch of stat charts in Serie A. He has taken the league on fire and it seems that sky is the limit for him. On the other hand, however, it is a debate in itself whether Real Madrid actually need Paz. His position is currently occupied by Jude Bellingham.
Even if Paz wants to play as an attacker, there are simply so many players that would be ahead of him in the pecking order, that it is tough for anyone to figure out a way to get him back. Never say never, though, as, again, Paz is brilliantly talented and the most talented players seem to play for Real Madrid more often than not. Let's see if this move ever comes to fruition for the Argentine star.
