Real Madrid have a number of players in their squad who's futures they are still trying to decide on ahead of next season. The club is somewhat on the fence when it comes to players like Raul Aasencio, Fran Garcia, and Franco Mastantuono and are trying to decide whether to keep or sell/loan as they make room for new arrivals. Another player who's future at the Bernabeu remains up in the air is Brahim Diaz, but thankfully for the club he could have a suitor in the shape of one of Italy's most iconic teams.

As being reported by theMadridZone on X, Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti has asked the club to sign Brahim Diaz this summer. Juve are looking to strengthen Spalletti's squad following their own disastrous season having missed out on the Champions League, and the club and manager view Brahim as a solid player to bring in to play a part in their rebuild.

Brahim to go from Rossoneri to Bianconeri?

This wouldn't be Brahim's first time playing in Serie A, having previously spent three seasons on loan at AC Milan between 2020-2023, grabbing 18 goals and 15 assists in 124 matches for the Rossoneri and was a major player in Milan's 21/22 Scudetto winning campaign. Brahim has had plenty of success since returning to Real Madrid but he hasn't found the consistent starting minutes like he had at Milan, which could play a part in him being open to a move to Juventus.

The Moroccan managed to grab two goals and nine assists in 42 appearances for Real Madrid this season but he largely served as a backup in the overloaded attack at Los Blancos. Brahim currently sits behind all of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo (when he's fit), Gonzalo Garcia, and even the likes of Franco Mastantuono and Arda Guler. Adding on top of that the expected returns of Nico Paz and Endrick and Brahim is just further and further down the pecking order making this move to Juve make all the sense in the world.

The full details of any potential deal still remain unknown with Juve looking for just a straight season long loan not including a buy option, with the player being open to the idea.

However, there are two things still holding up the deal, firstly the return of Nico Paz. All signs point to the Argentine returning from Como in which case Brahim would most likely see his loan to Juventus happen, but should Paz stay at Como next season, Real Madrid would choose to keep Brahim to fill that gap. The upcoming Real Madrid presidential elections also play a role in any prospect of a move as who wins will no doubt have a major impact on the look of the squad next season.
