Speaking of world-class defensive additions, another route for Carlo Ancelotti to go down is by bringing in a player for the future. At the top of his list, according to Fabrizio Romano, is 18-year-old LOSC centre-back Leny Yoro.
The Frenchman had his breakthrough season in 2023/24, proving to the world that he is not just an option to be considered for the future, but indeed he should be considered CURRENTLY.
Yoro made 32 Ligue 1 appearances last season and even made 4 Conference League apparances, picking up some invaluable European experience at such a young age. In more ways than one, he is certainly one to consider for Real Madrid.
It is expected that Yoro will cost around €60m, which is a great investment for an 18-year-old. However, LOSC value him this highly because they know better than most there is a gem to be unearthed in the young French prodigy.
