However, Joselu will not be signed permanently by Real Madrid, according to Fabrizio Romano. It is not a decision made by the club but instead the player. The Spanish report from COPE claims that Joselu will not sign for Real Madrid since the arrivals of Endrick and Kylian Mbappe will render him lower in the pecking order.
Still, there are no hard feelings and as mentioned, Real Madrid fans will love Joselu forever due to his incredible involvement in the Champions League win. Ageing at 34 years old, it is understandable that Joselu will seek a new adventure and he is prioritising game-time. He is now joining Qatari side Al Gharafa.
