Real Madrid will have a busy summer transfer window. Although fans would like to focus on the players who will be brought in by Florentino Perez (understandably, given the president's track record of great signings), it is important to address which players must leave. After all, room must be made in the squad for Los Blancos' transfer plans to prosper.

4 Real Madrid players who could move to Saudi Arabia in 2024

According to MARCA, there are four Real Madrid players who could be sold in 2024 and interestingly, they are all attracting interest from the Saudi Pro League. Those four players are as follows...

1. Luka Modric

Luka Modric is the first player wanted by the Saudi Pro League, understandably so. The world-class midfielder who is one of the greatest of all time in his position runs out of contract in 2024, so he will be a free agent. He has been offered the chance to stay under Carlo Ancelotti, but at this stage, Modric is yet to accept.

2. Lucas Vazquez

Versatile wide-man Lucas Vazquez also runs out of contract in 2024, so he is being eyed by the Saudi Pro League. He is a respected player who has achieved a lot at Real Madrid, but he may be persuaded by earning more in Saudi.

3. Nacho Fernandez

Nacho is the club captain who has been seeing a lot of game-time this season, but he isn't blind as to why. He is only getting a consistent run-out due to injuries in the squad. Next season, Nacho is not likely to get even half the minutes he is getting now. With his contract set to expire this year, the Madrid legend is wanted by Saudi Pro League clubs.

4. Ferland Mendy

The 28-year-old is a shock inclusion in this list. He is the only player of the four with more than a few months remaining on his Real Madrid contract. Admittedly, he is only tied down until the summer of 2025. The left-back has been in and out of the starting eleven this season, so a guaranteed squad role may appeal to him.
