2. Brahim Diaz

It's a tough one to judge given it's Brahim Diaz' first proper runout in the first-team but he has been impressive nevertheless. Despite not being a sure starter under Carlo Ancelotti, Diaz has given his all in every appearance and he is still getting in and amongst the goals.

The versatile star has managed seven goals and provided four assists across all competitions for Real Madrid this season. Last season, for AC Milan, he scored seven goals and provided eight assists. Of course, his contribution tally was higher last season but this season, a lot of his goals and assists have come from the bench.

Diaz will hope for more play time between now and the end of the season since he's definitely earned it. As far as fighting for your place in the starting eleven goes, Diaz is a great example. It's a nice problem for Carlo Ancelotti to have but he struggles to give his best players game time considering the amount of quality in the squad.
