Casemiro is yet another Real Madrid legend and another example of a player who spent his best years in the football capital of the world. The Brazil international made the switch to Europe in 2013, Real Madrid originally paying just €6m for his signature - A transfer which turned out to be one of the smartest business moves in history.

Casemiro famously played for Real Madrid for nine years, turning into a real fan favourite during this time. Exceptionally, Casemiro transformed the Real Madrid midfield and made it almost impossible to break down, given his incredible dominant presence in the centre of the park.

Casemiro was then sold to Manchester United in 2022 for a transfer fee of €70.65m, making him the third most expensive Real Madrid sale of all-time. One of the greatest players in Real Madrid history, it is fitting that Real Madrid made immense profit on his sale.
