Real Madrid have the best squad in the world. With new arrivals in the 2024 summer transfer window, Carlo Ancelotti is blessed with plenty of depth. 1. Rodrygo

Perhaps most notably, Rodrygo is set to struggle for game-time in 2024/25. The Brazil international is clearly capable of starting every game at the highest level but due to the new arrivals this summer, he could just as easily become a second thought to Carlo Ancelotti.

Indeed, this is an anxiety which exists in the mind of Rodrygo and his associates. According to a report this week, Rodrygo expressed his concerns to Real Madrid about losing his place in the starting lineup. If he is dropped from the XI, he could consider a move away from the Spanish capital.

It remains to be seen how Carlo Ancelotti envisions his Real Madrid lineup for next season. If it were down to the fans, Rodrygo would still start. There is probably a formula in Ancelotti's hard-to-read mind but one thing's for sure - Rodrygo will have a harder time next season with the new arrivals than he had last season.
