Real Madrid are often linked with the rising stars of La Liga and understandably so. But in recent years, the club have focused more heavily on signing youngsters from all around the world and do not actually have many Spanish internationals in their ranks. Let's see if that changes moving forward. One player who they were linked with recently is on his way to Bayern Munich though.

Bryan Zaragoza has shined this season in La Liga while representing Granada, who are in the relegation zone despite his brilliance. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in 14 appearances in the 23/24 campaign so far.

Let's see if Zaragoza is able to guide Granada away from relegation as the season progresses. His future lies away from the club one way or the other.

As reported by Bayern Munich's official website, Zaragoza is set to join the club from Granada for the 2024/25 season. The Bundesliga champions have reached an agreement with the Spanish club.

Zaragoza will sign a five-year contract with Bayern Munich that will run until the summer of 2029. It is hard to believe that he was playing in the Segunda Division even last season.

Zaragoza has certainly made quite the impression in his short time in the Spanish top flight. It is not often that those playing for relegation contenders end up signing for a club like Bayern Munich.

Of course, we all know Real Madrid need more reinforcements up top, both at striker and on the wings. Someone like Zaragoza would have been a good addition but it was not meant to be.
