Borussia Dortmund team news

As per BeSoccer, there are four injury doubts heading into this match for Borussia Dortmund. It is believed that Sebastien Haller, Ramy Bensebaini, Julien Duranville, and Mateu Morey will face races against time to be fit for this match. Although, it must be stated that Morey is not in the Champions League squad.

Without a doubt, Dortmund would like for Haller to be fit, if they had only one choice. Still, Haller is more than likely to play from the bench, given the impressive form of Fullkrug of late.

Real Madrid team news

David Alaba has been ruled out of the Champions League final before Real Madrid even qualified. Unfortunately for the Austrian defender, he will not face Dortmund in the final for a second time.

Alongside David Alaba on the treatment table is Aurelien Tchouameni. The Frenchman has been missing from action for the last few weeks but there was more optimism about him being fit for the final. Unfortunately for Tchouameni, though, he could not keep up with the race against time and he is not fit to play on Saturday.

Andriy Lunin is still in contention for a Champions League involvement. However, given his recent illness, it does not look increasingly likely that he will start the match.

Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid prediction

It is never easy to predict a Champions League final but given that Carlo Ancelotti leads Real Madrid, the most successful team in the competition's history, the prediction becomes a little bit easier. Still, no disrespect to the opposition, who will make life difficult for Real Madrid.

I think Real Madrid will win in extra time.
