Real Madrid are very excited to welcome Endrick to the setup. In fact, he is tipped to make his debut this week against AC Milan in pre-season. The Brazil international arrives with the weight of the world on his shoulders but if he can make it anywhere, it'll be at Real Madrid. After all, Carlo Ancelotti and Florentino Perez see something in the starlet and they're rarely wrong in their judgement.
Carlo Ancelotti addresses “issue” between Antonio Rudiger and Endrick
Endrick, after being officially unveiled to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, has travelled to the USA with Real Madrid for the pre-season fixtures. However, in training, there appears to have been a coming-together between Endrick and Antonio Rudiger. Understandably given the size and age difference between the two players, this has been escalated.
Essentially, Antonio Rudiger didn't take it easy on Endrick in training. He was very outright in his challenges and he often went in hard. This is the Rudiger that Real Madrid fans know and love, so it's hardly like there was any mallice in his training approach against Endrick.
Speaking to the media, Carlo Ancelotti was quick to put to bed any rumours of bad-blood between Antonio Rudiger and Endrick. As per Sportskeeda, he said: "Reports of issue of Rüdiger and Endrick? Nothing happened, Rüdiger just welcomed Endrick (smiles). He will do the same when Mbappé comes, Antonio is a great guy."
Indeed, if there was any malice, there would of course be an intervention between Real Madrid officials. After all, Endrick will be protected, since he is a gem for the future. However, Carlo Ancelotti has never put players on a pedestal, this isn't his approach. So, from the Italian's perspective, Endrick is simply being introduced to the nature of European football. It's better to be prepared, after all.
Real Madrid fans, how excited are you to see Endrick in action?
