Carlo Ancelotti is a proud and calm manager. Since he is at the helm of the best and most well-drilled club in the world, he very rarely feels the need to panic. He is one of the most successful Real Madrid managers of all-time and if anything, some even consider him the best manager to ever exist.

That said, as things stand, Carlo Ancelotti is not completely satisfied with Real Madrid. His main concerns were displayed to the world over the weekend, as Real Madrid dropped points against Real Mallorca in the opening La Liga fixture of the campaign. Despite going a goal up thanks to Rodrygo, Real Madrid conceded and Ferland Mendy was sent off, meaning Real Madrid dropped two points.

As quoted by Fabrizio Romano after the game, Carlo Ancelotti's frustrations were clear. He was by no means happy with the draw and to summarise his team's downfall in three simple words, Ancelotti said "we lacked balance."

Further adding to his point, Ancelotti said: “I am not happy with the draw because we could have done better. We needed more attitude. We can learn a lot from this game because it seems clear where we could have a problem."

The truth is that only Carlo Ancelotti knows what problem he is referring to, but the balance in the current team is one which he has placed a particular emphasis on, the media at least.

Balance was a key theme with Real Madrid over the summer, as there were question marks raised about how Carlo Ancelotti will adequately set up for the season ahead, with the likes of Endrick, Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham all battling for attacking positions. In the last two games, Real Madrid have started Vini, Rodrygo, Mbappe and Bellingham together.

How do you think Real Madrid should line up for their next game?
