Chelsea make €10 million offer for Real Madrid target
Real Madrid won the Champions League and La Liga double this season, and thinks only seem to be getting better for Los Blancos. The long-awaited move for Kylian Mbappe has already been announced after years of it not transpiring. Endrick will also be arriving this summer, and there is hope that he is the next Brazilian superstar.
Real Madrid have been particularly impressive when it comes to identifying talents from Brazil. Vinicius Junior is the perfect example. He scored in the Champions League final and is the favourite to win the Ballon d'Or next time around. Rodrygo is an important part of Carlo Ancelotti's team as well.
Naturally, one would expect Real Madrid to continue signing Brazilian youngsters. And Pedro Lima is someone who they have been linked with in recent times. Unfortunately for Los Blancos, it looks like Chelsea are already pushing to get a deal over the line.
As tweeted by Duncan Castles, Chelsea have increased their offer for Lima to an initial €7 million transfer fee with a further €3 million of variable payments. Sport Recife are currently holding out for the right-back’s €12.1 million release clause.

Lima is one of Brazilian football's rising talents. He has already played a decent bit of football for Sport Recife and seems to have done enough to catch the eye of some of Europe's biggest clubs.
Chelsea have been following a similar sort of transfer strategy as Real Madrid in recent years. Estevao and Kendry Paez are set to join the English club in the future and it would not be a surprise if Lima joins that list as well.
As for Real Madrid, they might end up missing out on Lima but they have actually been linked with Chelsea captain, Reece James, for some time now. It remains to be seen if something transpires there.
