Real Madrid did a fantastic job getting a deal done early to sign Endrick. Los Blancos reached an agreement with Palmeiras back in 2022 for a transfer package believed to be around €60 million. It is this summer that the player will finally be arriving in the Spanish capital, having developed his game in Brazil.

Now, it looks like Chelsea are on the verge of pulling off a similar deal for one of Endrick's teammates. That player is none other than Estevao, who has earned comparisons with a certain Lionel Messi in his homeland.

Some even believe Estevao to be a bigger talent than Endrick. Unfortunately, despite links, it looks like he won't be heading to Real Madrid when he does eventually leave Palmeiras.

As tweeted by Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement with Estevao on personal terms. Nothing done yet but the Blues remain clear favourites.

It is believed that there is a €55 million release clause in Estevao's contract. But Chelsea are rumoured to be willing to shell out a figure higher than that, in order to make the payment structure more suited to them.

It remains to be seen what the future holds but it would be a surprise if Estevao does not end up at Chelsea from this position. Similar to Real Madrid, the Blues have invested heavily on the brightest talents from around the world in recent years too.

We are yet to see results on the pitch but they should come in the future, once these talents find their feet in the senior game and start delivering. One has to remember that it took talents like Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo to develop as well but today, they are two of the best in the world.
