Chelsea have struggled since their change in ownership. The Blues have focused heavily on signing some of the best youngsters from around the world and this transfer strategy has not really paid off on the pitch, with the club not even getting close to the top four this season. Yet, it looks like they plan to stick to their ways and have a Real Madrid transfer target on their radar.

Real Madrid have already agreed a deal to sign Endrick, who will arriving in the Spanish capital this summer. And one of his Palmeiras teammates has been drawing a lot of attention as well.

Estevao is 17 years of age but he has already been drawing comparisons with Lionel Messi in Brazil. So much so that he has been nicknamed 'Messinho' and is believed to be on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in the world.

The Blues seem to be leading the race for his signature though. As reported by UOL, Chelsea are working to send Palmeiras a proposal for Estevao that can reach up to €55 million in total.

Estevao has already been making appearances for Palmeiras and has scored a senior goal for them as well, in the Copa Libertadores. He is also a regular for Brazil at the youth international levels and shined at the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

It is not hard to see why someone like Estevao has drawn the attention clubs like Chelsea and Real Madrid. Now, it remains to be seen where he ends up because his time at Palmeiras seems limited.

Real Madrid have a fantastic record when it comes to developing South American talents. The likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Fede Valverde have become global superstars at the club. One would hope that that hands them an advantage in the race for Estevao.
