Real Madrid have a very good recent record when it comes to signing Brazilian wonderkids and developing them into first-team regulars at Santiago Bernabeu. it has worked out for both Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, who are important starters for Los Blancos today but had arrived in the Spanish capital as teenagers.

There is already a lot of excitement surrounding Endrick as well although he will not arrive at Real Madrid before next summer. He has been impressing at Palmeiras lately and finished the season in top form, as they clinched the league title.

There is another player at Palmeiras who has been drawing a lot of attention lately. It is Estevao, who only made his senior debut for the Brazilian club in the last game of the season.

Estevao has been a standout at the youth levels though. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists in 5 appearances for Brazil at the Under-17 World Cup.

Real Madrid have already gotten a deal done with Palmeiras to sign Endrick. Could they agree a future transfer for another one of their brightest talents?

Real Madrid are not the only ones looking to sign the wonderkid though. As reported by GOAL, Chelsea opened talks with Palmeiras in order to try to sign Estevao. Negotiations are underway so that the English club could shell out a fee around €40 million, between a fixed amount and bonuses, for the transfer.

Of course, that is more than a significant figure for someone with one senior appearance to his name. But with the changing landscape of football, these days most clubs are trying to sign players long before they reach their peak. Estevao has earned comparisons to Lionel Messi for his style of play. Unsurprisingly, there is a lot of interest in the signature of 'Messinho'.
