Endrick will not be arriving at Real Madrid until the summer of 2024 but the hype is already building up around the Brazilian wonderkid. His Palmeiras team won the Brazilian Serie A title recently and the 17-year-old his part for sure. A lot had been made about his dry run in front of goal in the middle of the season but he finished the campaign strong, and had 11 goals to his name.

That number is significant. No player under 18 years of age has scored more goals in a Brazilian Serie A season other than the great Ronaldo Nazario. Even Neymar, who was already a superstar at Santos, could manage 10.

So, it goes without saying that Endrick is a special talent. And it is not just the fans who are saying. Those who have played at the highest level of the game appear to hold the same view.

Jese Rodriguez has played for clubs like Real Madrid and PSG. He most recently was at Brazilian club Coritiba and got the chance to have a closer look at Endrick.

As tweeted out by Managing Madrid, Jese said while talking about Endrick:

"I had to play against him and I saw him quite a few games. You're going to be amazed when he comes, he's very, very good. He has power, goals, dribbling, he likes to link up, he's a very complete player... He's very easy to like because he has a lot talent."

A lot of eyebrows were raised when Real Madrid agreed a €60 million transfer package with Palmeiras for Endrick last year. But it is safe to say that that figure will start to look like a bargain if the Brazilian wonderkid is able to fulfil his extraordinary potential.

He has already earned comparisons with Ronaldo Nazario and is believed to be the biggest talent to come out of Brazilian football since Neymar. Of course, that is a lot of hype to live up to. But Endrick is showing that he has all the tools to succeed at the highest level and even made his debut for the national team at just 17 years of age.
