Jude Bellingham has been fantastic ever since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund. Being the reigning Bundesliga Player of the Season, expectations were always high, but the England international has over-delivered and then some. One could argue that he has established himself as the face of the club already.
Bellingham's output since arriving has been unbelievable and it is one of the biggest reasons why Real Madrid have not felt the absence of Karim Benzema. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 18 goals and provided 8 assists in 26 appearances this season.
The club are top of the La Liga table, won all their group stage games in the Champions League and won the Supercopa de Espana recently as well. Naturally, Bellingham must be loving life at Real Madrid.
There seems to be one aspect of life as a Los Blancos superstar that he does not always enjoy though. As reported by SPORTbible, Bellingham said while speaking to Real Madrid TV:
"There isn't anywhere you can go where people don't recognise you.
"Sometimes it's a good thing and sometimes it's a bad thing."
Bellingham names 'bad thing' about life at Real Madrid
Bellingham should expect to be recognised a lot more over the coming years. It has only been half-a-season that he has been at Real Madrid so far and look at his trajectory, he looks set to be one of the best players in the world for years to come.
It is not just at Real Madrid that he has a chance of success either. England have one of the best squads at the international level as well. Three Lions fans will be hoping that the likes of Harry Kane and Bellingham can inspire them to EURO 2024 glory in the summer.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Bellingham. But it certainly seems to be one of the brightest in world football.
