Real Madrid return to action in the Champions League quarterfinal (2nd leg) tonight. They face the reigning champions Manchester City away from home but Carlo Ancelotti is not the type to instil fear into his team.

Certainly, Real Madrid fans had some good viewing in the Champions League last night as Kylian Mbappe scored against their El Clasico rivals to send Barcelona out of the competion. Furthermore, Borussia Dortmund knocked out their Madrid rivals, Atleti, in a classic Champions League dramatic tie.

Sticking to the subject of Kylian Mbappe, the Frenchman was one of the stars of the night on Tuesday as he scored against Barcelona but much of the talk around him was not about his performance but instead, his decision to leave Paris Saint-Germain. The question remains - Will PSG winning the Champions League serve as a factor in Kylian Mbappe's decision on his future?

Well, according to El Chiringuito TV, the answer is no. Kylian Mbappe was asked whether success in the Champions League would change his decision about whether or not he will leave PSG this summer, when his contract expires. To which, Kylian Mbappe's answer was a simple "no."

Real Madrid fans are in no doubt as all the signs point towards Kylian Mbappe representing the historic white jersey next season. The transfer has been a long time coming but this summer could finally be when the future of Mbappe is decided.

For the time being, Real Madrid fans can sit back and enjoy the vintage Kylian Mbappe performances in the UEFA Champions League. Next up, PSG are due to face Borussia Dortmund in the semifinal which is a tie that Kylian Mbappe is likely to star in.

Of course, there is every chance that Real Madrid could meet PSG in the Champions League final. Only then will Real Madrid fans pray for a bad Kylian Mbappe performance, which comes around almost never (particularly on the big stage, which is a key reason why Real Madrid are eager to sign him).

Real Madrid have their eyes on the double - La Liga and Champions League. Currently, they are top of the Spanish top flight and they are still yet to compete in the 2nd leg of the quarterfinal of the Champions League. As someone who lives and breathes the beautiful game, Kylian Mbappe will more than likely watch the tie between Real Madrid and Man City this evening.
