Kylian Mbappe is off the mark in La Liga and after a good international break spent catching up with his countrymen, he will be eager to add to his Real Madrid tally this weekend.
It goes without saying that Kylian Mbappe was destined to join Real Madrid. Despite his eventual transfer being delayed, the former Paris Saint-Germain player was bound to become a star under Carlo Ancelotti's tutelage.
However, Kylian Mbappe holds no bitter feelings towards his former club Paris Saint-Germain. In fact, he even spent the international break meeting up with one of his former teammates.
Usually, this would not be news-worthy. However, Real Madrid fans should be interested in his meeting, considering the other player wants to re-join Real Madrid.
Kylian Mbappe meets with former teammate who wants Real Madrid transfer
According to Foot Mercato, former Real Madrid player met with Kylian Mbappe over the international break. Hakimi travelled to Madrid, his home city, and met with Mbappe to watch a youth match together.
While they were together in the Spanish capital, it is believed that the two former teammates reminisced of good times while playing together. This should certainly raise the eyebrows of Real Madrid fans, since the two could one day be reunited.
Achraf Hakimi is believed to dream of a Real Madrid transfer. In fact, according to AS, Achraf Hakimi is eyed by Real Madrid as a natural successor for Lucas Vazquez and Dani Carvajal, both club legends but nearing the end of their time in the Spanish capital.
Hakimi played for Real Madrid between the years of 2017–2020 but failed to make a serious impact. He did make some La Liga appearances but it was the loan move to Borussia Dortmund which really kickstarted his career.
The Morocco international has won three Ligue 1 titles with Paris Saint-Germain but he still has the taste of winning the Champions League with Real Madrid in his mouth. It's an insatiable hunger which players can almost guarantee to feed when they play for Real Madrid only.
