Kylian Mbappe rejected €500m Manchester United offer to join Real Madrid
Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid is starting to feel like just a matter of time. The Frenchman is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer when his contract with the Ligue 1 club, whom he joined in 2017, runs out. And a number of outlets around Europe have suggested that he has already agreed to join Los Blancos, a move that has been in the making for years.
Mbappe has been linked with Real Madrid since his days at AS Monaco. Several times, it has seemed close but not materialised for one reason or the other. Now, it looks like it is finally set to happen.
It appears that Mbappe has turned down some high-profile offers as well. It is no secret that PSG wanted him to sign an extension. And they were not the one club after his signature.
As reported by OKDIARIO, Mbappe signed his contract with Real Madrid on February 13 in Paris. He rejected an offer from Manchester United a week earlier, which put on the table a formal proposal of €500 million for five seasons, including a transfer bonus of €200 million.

Real Madrid's offer is not expected to anywhere close to that. So, it is quite clear that Mbappe wants to play for the Spanish giants, having turned that opportunity down a couple of years back to extend with PSG.
A move to Real Madrid would be beneficial for Mbappe in more ways than one. It should revive a club career that has stagnated to a certain extent lately. He would get the chance to compete for the Champions League consistently. And, he would have more eyeballs on him on a consistent basis than ever before, making him an even bigger superstar,
The good thing is that it looks like he wants to be at Real Madrid over anywhere else. That is what you always want from players you sign.
