Liverpool rival Manchester United in the race for Real Madrid star

Real Madrid are in for a busy summer transfer window. It goes without saying that with Kylian Mbappe expected to finally join the Bernabeu club, it is bound to have a ripple effect on the rest of Europe. If Mbappe does join Real Madrid, then it is expected that some players may have to leave the club, if not to make room in the squad, then to be on the hunt for guaranteed game time.
One player who could be affected by Kylian Mbappe's arrival is Brahim Diaz. The former AC Milan loanee struggles to get into the starting lineup at the best of times, let alone when Real Madrid's new superstar joins the fray in the summer.

According to HITC, Liverpool are set to rival Manchester United to sign Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid this summer. The report does also state that Real Madrid have insisted that he is not looking to leave the club.
Ultimately, this could come down the age-old conundrum of "how much money is too much to reject?" After all, every club has a price, even for their most prized players.
Brahim has had a great season. Despite not featuring in the starting eleven a lot, he has been a valuable squad player and contributed to his fair share of goals and assists this season. Most notably, he had a great moment in the Champions League, scoring in the first leg tie against RB Leipzig.

While Real Madrid will try their hardest to keep him, should one of the Premier League clubs offer big money, which they are renowned for doing, then Florentino Perez would surely be contemplating the sale. He is a fan favourite and as a fan-owned club, Real Madrid hope that Brahim Diaz will stay. However, the kindest thing to do (with Mbappe arriving), might be to sell him.
