Manchester United want to sign Real Madrid superstar
Real Madrid are expected to sign a Galactico next summer. They have been linked with a number of top players in recent times. Names like Erling Haaland and Victor Osimhen have been brought up. But Kylian Mbappe still feels like the most likely candidate to end up at Santiago Bernabeu, with his current deal with PSG running out.
Signing Mbappe won't be simple though. And if it happens, it could result in the potential departure of one of Real Madrid's well established superstars.
As reported by Fichajes, Real Madrid is immersed in an ambitious strategy to secure the arrival of Kylian Mbappe next season, and one of the tactical moves could involve the exit of Vinicius Junior. Three top teams have expressed a firm interest in signing the Brazilian. They are PSG, Manchester City and Manchester United.
It is not hard to understand why PSG might be interested, with Mbappe's future in doubt. Manchester City are always involved when a world-class player becomes available. And Manchester United need to make something happen, as they continue to struggle.
Manchester United, Man City and PSG want to sign Real Madrid superstar
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Vinicius and how accurate the exit rumours are. Most Real Madrid fans would not want the club to part ways with the Brazilian superstar.
There are a couple of reasons why it would make sense though. The first is obviously the economic implications of signing someone like Mbappe. The second is because Vinicius' position on the pitch is very similar to that of the Frenchman.
Vinicius is a well-established player at Real Madrid though and appeared to be on the verge of becoming the face of the team before his injury problems this season. Parting ways with him might not be the right step for the club.
