What does the future hold for Kylian Mbappe? That is a question that has made headlines for years now. Real Madrid have always been linked with a move for the French World Cup winner and seemed close on more than one occasion. Ultimately, it has never materialised. Next summer might be the best opportunity ever though, with him in the final six months of his current deal and now free to negotiate terms with other clubs.

If there is one thing that is certain about the Mbappe sage though, it is that nothing is certain. With the number of twists and turns we have witnessed over the years, the only thing we can really do is wait and see how things unfold.

Mbappe has been heavily linked with Real Madrid for a long time but in recent weeks, Liverpool seem to have emerged as potential candidates to sign him as well. The possibility of him extending his contract with PSG cannot really be ruled out either.

As reported by Le Parisien (via SPORT), PSG have put a long-term offer on the table for Mbappe. Now everything depends on the player.

PSG make Mbappe move amid Real Madrid and Liverpool rumours

It is safe to say that Mbappe will have no lack of options if he chooses to leave PSG, especially as a free agent. Despite all the speculation, Real Madrid still feel like his most likely destination come next summer.

Of course, Liverpool could prove to be interesting prospect as well. The Reds have been one of the best teams in Europe since Jurgen Klopp became their manager in 2015 and play a style of football in which Mbappe might thrive. The Premier League is the most popular competition in the world as well.

What makes the situation even more interesting are the rumours that Real Madrid want a swift decision from Mbappe regarding his future. Otherwise, they might move their sights elsewhere.
