Real Madrid are slowly assembling all the pieces to form one of the most formidable squads in all of Europe for the next decade to come. The current roster has world-class youngsters all over the pitch but not a ton of depth and Los Blancos are expected to strengthen further over coming transfer windows.

Many areas of the pitch are already settled for the future. With the likes of Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouameni the midfield of the next decade and more is in safe hands. As well as the wingers of the future with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo.

There are still questions being asked about who will partner Vini and Rodrygo through the middle. The club will have Endrick arriving from Palmeiras in the summer, however, some are still anticipating the arrival of Kylian Mbappe as well.

One area in the team that some think may be a bit lacking is the defence. Eder Militao is no doubt a cornerstone for the years to come. However, there are a few other long-term options in the backline right now.

Real Madrid are interested in Manchester City talent

As reported by MARCA, Yan Couto appears on Real Madrid's radar. He could be a possible signing for a decade and is more than a proven talent.

Couto is a name that not many may have been familiar with before this season. However, he is having a breakout season with Girona right now.

The right-back has been one of Spanish football's revelations this season helping Girona make an unexpected title challenge. Could that earn the Manchester City loanee a move to Real Madrid?

At 21 years of age, Couto would tick a number of boxes Real Madrid look for when signing players these days. The club certainly need a long-term right-back, with Dani Carvajal turning 32 earlier this month.
