The latter has hilariously taken a dig at Toni Kroos in his latest social media post. Sergio Ramos, like Kroos himself, is known to be the master of social media, oftentimes posting hilarious stuff and recounting his legendary career in a comical way. It is a great age for Real Madrid fans as they can see the true personality of their club legends like never before.
Well, Toni Kroos' recent retirement didn't render him as safe from Sergio Ramos' incredible social media trolling. As spotted by a Real Madrid fan on Reddit, Sergio Ramos shared an infographic on his story which compared his career goals as a defender (140) to other legendary midfielders Andres Iniesta (107), Luka Modric (109), Andrea Pirlo (86) and Toni Kroos (100).
Ramos threw an extra spanner into the works by including the caption "not bad for a defender". Now that Toni Kroos is retired, he can look back at this post and laugh about it. After all, he has a great relationship with Ramos as two club legends and as a player with a clear sense of humour himself, Kroos will appreciate the banter from his former teammate.

What's impressive about Sergio Ramos is that ageing at 38 years old, he is still going at the highest level. While it is common practice for players to take a step down at that stage of their careers, Ramos is still playing for Sevilla, so he has met with Toni Kroos as an opponent already this season.
Long may Ramos' career continue, for he will be sad departure from the sport, when it eventually happens.
