Real Madrid legend refuses to call this Carlo Ancelotti team Galácticos

Real Madrid have always been the biggest club in the world. The Spanish capital club has asserted its dominance on the rest of the world, holding the record for most Champions Leagues and most La Ligas won.
They have also been home to some of the best players in the history of the game. They have seen legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, Alfredo di Stefano and Sergio Ramos don their infamous Royal White jersey.
That said, their current crop of players are pretty impressive. Fresh from winning a La Liga and Champions League double, Carlo Ancelotti has hailed his current squad as being the best he's ever worked with.
So, how close does the current Real Madrid squad pale in comparison to the Galácticos?

According to Real Madrid legend Clarence Seedorf, the current Real Madrid squad is still a way off from being compared to the Galácticos. In fact, Seedorf refuses to call them Galácticos for this reason, as per talkSPORT.
In his own words, Clarence Seedorf said: "No, I don't think we can call them Galácticos. They are very good players, but I believe that's a very good team. What I've seen of Real Madrid, more than individual players, is a team that knows how to work hard for each other, they know how to suffer together in certain matches. I think that's the difference."
It is certainly true that the reason why Real Madrid continue to win every trophy in sight is because of the togetherness in the team, rather than individual quality.
Touch wood it doesn't happen, but if you were to omit one or two of Real Madrid's best players, the squad harmony and its functionality would maintain the dominance which Real Madrid have set for the longest time.
What is a Galáctico?
So we are all on the same page about what is defined as a "Galáctico", it is essentially a premium player which came at an incredible price tag, most notably in the Florentino Perez era of the club.
While Real Madrid are still ran by Florentino Perez, the transfer policy has adapted past premium price tags and onto more frugal options, such as free transfers and academy development. For example, Kylian Mbappé was a free player and Vinícius Júnior joined as a youngster.
The best players in the Real Madrid squad currently are Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo. While these are great individual players, they pale insignificant to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Luis Figo.
