Erling Haaland has started this season with 7 goals in 3 Premier League games. The Norwegian is quite simply the best goalscorer in the world right now. The rest are competing for a distant second spot. And having already achieved all that there is to in English football, one has to wonder whether he will be enticed by the idea of a move to Real Madrid in the future.

Real Madrid have never really replaced Karim Benzema. They have brought in Kylian Mbappe this summer and he is playing centrally, but the Frenchman is not an out-and-out striker.

Let's see how things play out over the course of the season but if Mbappe fails to deliver satisfactory results as the main man up top, Ral Madrid might need to go out searching for a natural striker. And who better than Haaland to fill that role?

As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Haaland could potentially push to join Real Madrid next summer. But there are certain dominoes with regard to Manchester City that need to fall in place for the Norwegian to demand such a move.

Haaland would be a dream signing for many Real Madrid fans. If there is one player who can guarantee goals, it is the Norwegian.

Of course, one would not expect Manchester City to part ways with him easily. In the past, there have been rumours about there being a release clause in his contract for clubs outside of England. It remains to be seen whether that is accurate or not.

For now, Haaland is a Manchester City player and is expected to be for the foreseeable future. On the other hand, Real Madrid need to find out a way to get the best out of both Vinicius Jr and Mbappe at the same time.
