Jude Bellingham has exceeded all expectations since joining Real Madrid in the summer from Borussia Dortmund. He had a superb run in Germany and it is safe to say that he was brought in to be a starter for Los Blancos for the next decade to come. But even his most optimistic fans could not have predicted how well he was going to settle into life in the Spanish capital.

Bellingham has been Real Madrid's best player this season and by some distance. One could argue that he has established himself as the face of the club already.

There is a long way to go for Bellingham yet though. And it looks like in the eyes of Antonio Rudiger, he is yet to reach the level of Kevin De Bruyne.

While speaking to GOAL, Rudiger was asked to rank De Bruyne, Bellingham and Pedri. He placed the Manchester City legend first, the Real Madrid ace second and the Barcelona player third.

To be very honest, that is a fair assessment. De Bruyne is one of the best players in Premier League history and arguably Manchester City's best ever. He has been performing at the highest of levels for years.

Bellingham has most probably been better than him this season. But he has to prove himself for a much longer period of time in order to be considered better than De Bruyne.

Bellingham does have all the tools required to reach those heights though. De Bruyne was playing at nowhere near this level when he was 20 years of age. And if Real Madrid end up winning the Champions League this season, there is a genuine possibility that the Englishman could win the next Ballon d'Or, something the Belgian has never done.
