There are some players at Real Madrid, whose futures at the club are in doubt. With the club competing for the Champions League and on the verge of winning La Liga, that might be the last thing on fans' minds at this stage of the season. But when the summer comes around, we might be saying goodbye to a few.

One player who might be bringing his Real Madrid career to a close is Nacho Fernandez. Having come through the club's youth ranks, the defender has spent his entire career playing for Los Blancos, never even going out on loan.

Nacho has been at Real Madrid for more than two decades now, having joined back in 2001. But he won't be ending his career as a one-club man.

As reported by MARCA, Nacho has decided to end his time as a Real Madrid player on June 30. The destination is going to be the MLS.

At no point in his career has Nacho been a nailed-on starter for Real Madrid. But he has proven himself as a reliable squad player for sure. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has made 357 appearances for Los Blancos so far.

Not many in history have made more. So, if or when Nacho does leave, Real Madrid will be losing a ton of experience from their dressing room.

Nacho does have the chance to end his run at Real Madrid with some of his most memorable moments. The Spaniard is the club captain right now, meaning that he looks set to lift the La Liga title come the end of the season. Of course, the ultimate dream will be to do the same with the Champions League. That would put him in pretty illustrious company.
