Real Madrid have had a great track record in recent times when it comes to identifying and signing the best talents from around the world. It has done wonders for them as well, as they have enjoyed continued success on the pitch while also rebuilding their team for years to come. And it looks like one of Manchester United's brightest prospects is in their sights.

There has not been much to cheer about in recent years for Manchester United. They have never rediscovered their best since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement more than a decade ago and not for a lack of trying. Managers like Jose Mourinho, Louis van Gaal, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, David Moyes and Ralf Rangnick were unable to. Erik ten Hag's name could soon be on that list.

Manchester United continue to find themselves in the middle of the table, currently sitting at eighth in the Premier League. And that could ultimately lead to some of their best players leaving.

Alejandro Garnacho would fall under that category based on recent form. The Argentine international has been a rare bright spot for Manchester United. Will he remain at Old Trafford for the foreseeable future though?

As reported by GIVEMESPORT, Garnacho is already on the radar of Real Madrid and PSG. He signed a contract extension with Manchester United last year but the youngster and his advisors have a plan and it doesn’t involve long-term mediocrity and a lack of European football.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Manchester United. Their form this season has been very shaky and unless things improve significantly, it is hard to see them qualify for the Champions League.

Of course, Garnacho has a long-term contract with Manchester United. It is believed to run until the summer of 2028. Thus, the club are in a strong position.
