Real Madrid have a fantastic record in recent years when it comes to identifying, signing and developing young talents from all over the world. Names like Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverede and several others come to mind immediately, with all of them having key roles in the starting XI right now.

Thus, Real Madrid's ability to develop highly-rated youngsters into key starters has been impressive. A lot of clubs have followed the same transfer strategy but nobody has shown the consistency and efficiency of Los Blancos.

This time around, it looks like a club legend's son is on the radar of Real Madrid. Can they bring him to Santiago Bernabeu in the face of tough competition?

As reported by Fichajes, Real Madrid have set their sights on Federico Redondo, whose performances with Argentinos Juniors have caught the attention of several European clubs. Clubs such as Manchester City and FC Barcelona are also interested in the youngster. Los Blancos would be willing to shell out a €15 million transfer fee to secure the signing of the midfielder.

Redondo is one of the most highly-rated talents in South American football right now. Signing him would have to considered as a major coup for any club.

Real Madrid already have arguably the best midfield department in all of Europe. That being said, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are expected to depart soon while it remains to be seen what the future holds for Dani Ceballos.

Redondo is 20 years of age and ready to take the next step in his development. One would hope that his connection with Real Madrid and the club's excellent recent record of developing wonderkids will see them become the favourites in the race for the Argentine midfielder.
