As Real Madrid prepare for the 2nd leg of the tie, they have received some positive injury news. According to 90min, Real Madrid sensation Jude Bellingham is eyeing the 2nd leg against RB Leipzig as a potential return date as he has been missing from action in recent weeks.
Jude Bellingham has had an impressive start to life in the football capital. The England international is one of the most promising players in the world right now, playing in a star-studded Real Madrid setup. His goal contributions have gone a long way and you wouldn't be crazy to assume he could bag another in the Champions League.
In the European competition alone, Bellingham has scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists. That's good going for a midfielder but it's even more impressive when you consider the magnititude and importance of his goals.
Also stated within the report is Antonio Rudiger's proposed injury return. After being missing for a lot of this month's action, the centre-back is looking positive ahead of the return fixture against RB Leipzig, where his defensive excellence will be called upon since Leipzig are expected to go full throttle.
Furthermore, if Real Madrid advance in the UEFA Champions League, then one of their other injured players could be available for the quarter final stage. The report states that Eder Militao is showing great progress in his injury recovery, so he could be back and fighting for a place come the quarterfinals in April.
