Real Madrid superstar rejects Liverpool and Man City transfer opportunity
By Kian Long
Real Madrid have plans to bolster their squad for the summer transfer window. Although it may seem like the squad is perfect (it essentially is), Carlo Ancelotti is the brains behind the operation and he is the kind of character who will always seek improvements where others may deem it impossible.
Given the immense plans for the summer, it does leave one conundrum and that is the fact of certain players must leave. Whether it be to improve their own playing time at another club or simply through efforts of the capital to balance the books and maintain squad harmony, it is inevitable.
One player who has been linked with a move away from the Spanish capital in the summer transfer window is Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes. The Brazil international who has had another stellar season is a wanted man after his performances in La Liga and the Champions League. He is particularly a key figure of interest in the Premier League.

However, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Rodrygo has one plan on his mind and that involves remaining at Real Madrid next season. It is a decision made by Rodrygo and his team, after careful consideration about what is the best strategy for his future. It is believed that Real Madrid is the best project in the world and it will take some doing to change that stance.
This is certainly a heartwarming thing for Real fans to hear. After all, there was doubt about his time in a Madrid jersey, with Liverpool and Man City calling. Needless to say, Man City are in the same calibre as Real Madrid as the two best clubs in the world and when Pep Guardiola comes calling, it is difficult to turn down those phone calls.
Furthermore, with the expected arrival of Kylian Mbappe in Madrid, the question about Rodrygo's minutes next season must be asked. However, Rodrygo is clearly a world-class player himself, so he will not be focused on outside noise and he will be fixated on improving his own playing style, to advance to the level of being irreplaceable in the starting lineup.
Now that's sorted, let's hope that Real Madrid can make Rodrygo a memorable treble winner.
